To liaison with various Doctors & Senior Consultants, who are the indenters for the Pharmacy, to understand their exact requirements to be translated in purchase indent. To give monthly indents/ forecast to Pharmacy Purchase section based on the consumption trend analysis. Based on the consumption pattern & purchase lead time, arrive at ROQ, ROL, Safety Stock, Max. & Min. stock levels as applied to all the SKUs of pharmacy. To implement SOPs as applicable to Pharmacy Operations. To carry out FSN Analysis of stocks to ensure that no medicines are expired while in stock. To return the medicines with shorter expiry to vendors to seek timely replenishment. To receive the medicines/ drugs as per the purchase order & only in the stipulated time. To ensure that the GRNs are prepared only after proper inspection of incoming materials, with correct Batch No. & Expiry. To ensure proper storage of all the medicines & drugs in temperature/ light controlled environment. To ensure safety of all the medicines/ drugs in stock, specially for Narcotics & costly Oncology drugs. Issue of all the medicines & drugs only thru' HIS in the prescribed time. To ensure even distribution at all the ward level with special care for OT, ICU, and Oncology for least TAT (Turn Around Time). Prompt replenishment of medicines/ drugs at Minimum/ Safety level by active follow-up with purchase. Answering regular queries of doctors, nurses and staff requiring medicines. Maintaining & monitoring of Narcotics & Oncology stocks. Daily updating of narcotic registers and stock maintenance, also ensuring availability. Requesting user department for liquidating nonmoving stock. Liaisoning and follow-up with government agencies like FDA, Drugs Controller for various licenses/permits etc and keep records for its renewals. To follow the recommendations given by the Infection Control Committee for improving service parameters of Pharmacy. To carry out physical stock checking to tally with the systems stocks, on a bi-yearly basis or as advised by the management. Attending procedural meetings as required and participate on committee, as requested.
