Assistant Manager Finance

Job Description

You will be responsible for handling statutory compliance, financial reporting, Audit, and Tax matters. This includes preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will lead and manage statutory audit, internal audit, tax audits, and related financial processes. Additionally, you will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis. Ensuring timely and accurate statutory compliance (Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, TDS, GST filings) is a key part of your role. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Analyzing financial data to drive business insights and decision-making will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Implementing and improving internal controls, systems, and processes is also a key aspect of the role. Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional departments will be required. Overseeing financial reporting, MIS, and management presentations is also part of your duties.Qualifications required for this role include:- Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant/ MBA/ CA Inter in finance- 3 - 5 years of experience in FP&A, MIS, cost & Management Accounting in the Manufacturing Industry- Proficiency in Accounting, Tally, Taxation, MS-Excel, Financial forming, Auditing, Consulting, and Financial ReportingThe company, Rational Engineers Ltd, was started in 1989 and provides a complete range of copper products used in electrical winding. The head office is located in Thane, Maharashtra, with factories in Maharashtra, Daman, and Gujarat.
