Assistant Manager (Procurement & Planning)

Job Description

As a Production and Inventory Planning Manager at Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, you will play a crucial role in driving the production and inventory planning processes to ensure seamless supply chain execution. Your responsibilities will include:- Creating long-term manufacturing plans for the next 6 months and managing production schedules across 5 manufacturing lines.- Monitoring daily manufacturing schedules, reporting any deviations, and taking corrective actions as necessary.- Collaborating with various functions such as production, QA/QC, packing, logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely product availability and smooth dispatches for domestic and international business.- Planning inventory requirements for production in coordination with stores and preparing monthly consolidated packing plans.- Tracking committed deliveries against production plans to ensure timely fulfillment.In addition to the above key responsibilities, you will also be required to:- Collaborate with line managers to ensure production adherence and coordinate with QA/QC for the timely release of finished goods, raw materials, and packing materials.- Work closely with packing and finished goods stores to manage dispatches effectively and efficiently.- Maintain logistics records, including vehicle demand vs. availability, and follow up with vendors to ensure vehicle availability for international shipments and inbound logistics.- Collect, verify, and process transport invoices, ensuring timely distribution to stakeholders, and coordinate with procurement for raising PRs and POs against invoices.Qualifications required for this role include:- 4-6 years of experience in the Pharma supply chain domain.- Any graduate, preferably with an MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations.- Proficiency in logistics management.- Experience in the biopharma industry and knowledge of inventory planning.Join Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited to be a part of a leading biopharma company focusing on womens health, fertility, critical care, and emergency medicine and contribute to our super speciality business that manufactures complex and niche biosimilars.
