Job Description

    As a Data Privacy & Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:Role Overview:You will have 3 to 6 years of experience in the field and will be working in a hybrid mode at one of the locations mentioned - Bangalore, Pune, Gurugram, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ahmedabad.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and validate data processing activities.- Provide riskrated recommendations and privacy control requirements.- Perform data discovery and classification across structured, unstructured, and SaaS environments.- Maintain dataflow maps, taxonomy, and labels.- Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) by defining policies, tuning rules, reviewing incidents, and recommending actions.- Run DSPM scans, analyse exposure risks, prioritize issues, and track remediation closures.- Review data access permissions and recommend leastprivilege access; support periodic access reviews.- Maintain privacy operations including RoPA, notices, consent logs, and retention schedules.- Manage Data Subject Requests (DSR) with proper workflows and evidence.- Support privacybydesign for new features, system changes, and customer journeys.- Assist in data protection incident handling triage, RCA, containment, and notification support.- Prepare and publish metrics and dashboards (DLP, DSPM, RoPA, DSR SLA, remediation progress).Qualifications Required:- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, or other global privacy frameworks.- Experience with DLP, DSPM, DAM/Data Access Governance tools.- Good understanding of data flows, data lifecycle, and cloud/SaaS environments.- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.This job will provide you with the opportunity to work on Privacy Assessments (DPIA) & Risk, Data Discovery & Classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), DSPM (Data Security Posture Management), Data Access Governance & DAM, Privacy Operations, Metrics and Dashboards.
