Job Description

    As a Business Development professional at Mahindra Teqo, your role will involve planning, directing, and executing sales activities to increase revenue through both new account acquisition and generating additional revenue from existing accounts. You will be responsible for developing strategic selling initiatives for existing and new products and services to maximize profitability and market share.Key Responsibilities:- Developing new business opportunities and establishing long-term tie-ups with clients- Leading the overall sales process and ensuring successful deal closures- Building customer relationships, focusing on customer needs, and providing solutions to help them achieve their goals- Conducting competitor benchmarking, evaluating competitor offerings, and refining the companys Customer Value Proposition (CVP)- Preparing proposals, gathering market insights on competition pricing and vendor strategies, and assessing risks- Coordinating with Analytics and Business Teams for proposal preparation- Driving Standardization and Cost reduction projects across the business- Developing the allocated territory and aiming for maximum share of the market- Nurturing and developing new value-added servicesMarket Expansion:- Analyzing customer requirements and identifying key market trends, staying updated on central and state policies- Representing Mahindra Teqo at industry functions and conferences to promote the business- Traveling and engaging with clients regularly to position Mahindra Teqo as the preferred service provider- Providing feedback on emerging business trends and industry best practices to refine the business model and enhance business excellence- Developing market insights on current competitors and providing inputs for product and operations improvement based on lost order analysisQualifications Required:- 6 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in sales (Commercial or Technical) / Business development- Experience in the Solar / Energy / Power industry would be preferred- Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience; Or an MBA with a minimum of 3 years of experiencePlease note that this job description is for the position of Business Development at Mahindra Teqo, where you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and market expansion for the company.
