Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of captive insurance clients and providing technical insurance support across the team. Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in captive consulting and new business activities.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements, client financial, and management accounting- Manage regulatory and compliance issues- Prepare Board Packs and client benchmarking analysis- Review new clients business operations and collaborate with the team on implementing solutions- Respond to and follow up on queries from captive account-holders- Maintain and develop various management information reportsKey Activities:- Prepare Trial Balance, Income statement, and Balance Sheet for Captive Insurance clients- Plan and execute accounting and financial activities such as budgeting, forecasting, investment reconciliations, cash flow statements, and bank account reconciliations- Update notes to accounts when necessary- Calculate unearned/unexpensed reinsurance reserve and Allocated Investment Income- Post journals, prepare reconciliations, and review balances- Prepare management, statutory, and regulatory reports- Monitor shareholder/inter-company loans in compliance with state laws- Monitor and report on activities, providing relevant management information- Be proficient in system usage, with hands-on experience in MS Office applications- Liaise and attend meetings and other company functions as required for duties and organizational developmentTop 5 Competencies:- Managing Stakeholders- Adjusting to change- Structuring Tasks- Presentation skills- Investigating Issues & Evaluating ProblemsQualifications:Required Skills and Qualifications:- CA Qualified- Good communication skills- Self-driven, results-oriented with a focus on high quality- Advanced spreadsheet skills (MS Excel)- Forward planner with the ability to assess own performance critically- Mature, credible, and comfortable dealing with senior company executives- Empathetic communicator, able to see things from others points of view- Presentable and businesslike- Mobile and flexible to travel to various locations- Keen for new experiences, responsibility, accountability, and professional development- Team-player, able to work well with others**Note: No additional details about the company are mentioned in the job description** Role Overview:You will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of captive insurance clients and providing technical insurance support across the team.
