Role Overview:You will be joining Kingfisher Telecom as the Head of Copper Scrap Monetization for India. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of high-grade copper scrap, building trusted partnerships with reliable recyclers, and ensuring scalability for inbound copper scrap operations.Key Responsibilities:- Place consistent volumes of high-grade Bare Bright copper scrap (ISRI 101) with verified buyers across India.- Identify and establish relationships with reputable recyclers known for fair pricing, operational transparency, and reliable execution.- Negotiate commercial terms that balance value, speed, and risk mitigation, prioritizing partners with strong payment integrity.- Conduct due diligence on buyer capability, assay practices, and compliance alignment.- Monitor market dynamics to optimize timing and routing of shipments.- Provide strategic insights on expanding beyond spot sales through value-added processing, tolling arrangements, or integrated supply models.- Act as Kingfishers trusted representative in Indias metals community, ensuring seamless coordination from container arrival to final settlement.Qualifications Required:- Minimum of 6 years of direct experience in copper scrap trading, recycling, or raw material sourcing within India.- Proven track record in managing container-scale transactions of imported high-grade copper scrap.- Established relationships with procurement or trading teams at major organized recyclers in regions such as Delhi NCR, Gujarat, or Maharashtra.- Strong understanding of import logistics, assaying norms, GST treatment, and customs procedures for metal scrap.- Reputation for integrity, discretion, and commercial acumen.- Fluent in English and Hindi with the ability to operate in both corporate and industrial environments.About Kingfisher:Kingfisher Telecom is focused on scaling its physical infrastructure and generating strategic streams of high-grade secondary materials, including premium copper scrap.
