Job Description

As an Automation Consultant, your role involves developing and implementing warehouse automation and robotics processes and integrations to ensure effective and consistent deployments across various customer environments.Key Responsibilities:- Configure and implement WMS automation and robotics processes.- Develop functional templates and implementation scripts tailored for warehouse automation.- Adhere to established configuration guidelines for consistent deployments.- Thoroughly document all automation configurations for clarity and reference.- Support continuous improvement of automation processes by providing feedback and sharing experiences.Qualifications Required:- Minimum 5 years of experience in 3PL from both systems and operational perspectives.- Extensive experience with Manhattan Active WMS, Blue Yonder WMS, and/or other enterprise WMS systems.- Five years of experience leading the technical delivery of complex, integrated WMS solutions.- Practical experience in implementing automation templates and integrating with warehouse automation systems.- Experience in global logistics or large-scale warehouse automation projects.- Exposure to cloud-based WMS deployments, preferably on Google Cloud.Specialist Knowledge & Skills:- Detailed configuration knowledge of WMS systems used within CEVA Logistics (Manhattan Active / Blue Yonder WMS).- Understanding of change and release processes for IT products.- Familiarity with software testing and QA processes for warehouse automation solutions.- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work with minimal supervision.- Approach solution design and implementation with a research and development (R&D) mindset.- Proficiency in MYSQL / MSSQL / Oracle (PL SQL) for database management and development.- Expertise in integration (EDI/API) and middleware software development, with extensive experience in integrating with automation and robotics solutions (WCS).- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Groovy, and Python.- Experience with version control systems like GitLab/GitHub.- Familiarity with CI/CD using Jenkins and Agile methodologies.- Basic understanding of cloud architecture, preferably Google Cloud.(Note: No additional company details were included in the job description.)
