Job Description

As an E-Plan Engineer at our company for all your Supply Chain Solutions, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining electrical schematics, cabinet/panel/field layouts, and other technical documentation using EPLAN software for intralogistics equipment & solutions.Your main responsibilities will include:- Utilizing E-Plan software to develop comprehensive electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for intralogistics equipment and systems.- Designing and sizing control panel layouts using E-Plan software.- Drafting control and network architecture diagrams for automation systems in projects.- Preparing field layout drawings using AutoCAD software.- Generating error-free reports and other technical documentation in line with ISO standards using E-Plan.- Releasing Electrical and Control Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP.- Maintaining revision control for electrical schematics and field layouts.- Evaluating and approving technical offers from panel vendors.- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and efficiency using E-Plan software.In terms of authorities, you will be responsible for the selection of electrical and control switchgears, cables, and other panel accessories, as well as panel/Junction Box (JB) sizing. You will also be involved in releasing ADD data to PPC, Mechanical, and Installation teams, and approving technical offers for control panel vendors, as well as panel testing compliance reports.Your key results areas (KRAs) will be:- Quality & accuracy of Electrical & control schematics & layout.- Timely & efficient delivery of electrical & control schematics & layout.- Customer satisfaction, project success & continuous improvement.The requisite qualifications for this role include a Diploma/Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics. Essential experience includes detailed knowledge of using/operating E-Plan software and switchgear, cable & panel component selection based on current rating & available space. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience in Eplan & AutoCAD for a minimum of 4 years.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong understanding of electrical and control engineering principles, circuits, and components.- Proficiency in E-Plan and AutoCAD software.- Basic knowledge of industry standards and regulations (IEEE & IEC).- Detail-oriented and quality-focused.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and control design issues effectively.- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Positive learning attitude.
