Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be responsible for leading sales operations within a designated territory in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Your role will involve driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market share for the companys portfolio of consumer products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales strategy execution, team leadership, and achieving targets in a competitive FMCG environment.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory-specific revenue targets and market penetration goals.- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and training to ensure high productivity and morale.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and recommend product positioning strategies.- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management for informed decision-making.- Oversee inventory management, promotional activities, and merchandising efforts to optimize product visibility and sales.- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to align on objectives and resolve operational challenges.- Travel within the territory as needed to conduct field visits, client meetings, and trade events.Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.- Demonstrated success in territory management, achieving or exceeding sales quotas in the FMCG industry.- Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, retail dynamics, and consumer goods market.
