Bid & Proposal Management Experienced Professional

Role Overview:As a part of Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the execution of the Service strategy by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, cost-effective proposals on service offerings, solutions, and engineering projects for customers. Your responsibilities will include recording and maintaining enquiry register, reviewing bid documents, preparing pre-bid documentation, identifying cost-effective solutions, coordinating with internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures, and more.Key Responsibilities:- Record and maintain enquiry register on a regular basis.- Review customers bid documents, technical specifications, and requirements, identify scope of supply/service, and prepare technical deviations and clarifications.- Prepare timely and comprehensive pre-bid documentation.- Determine the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.- Obtain backup data and quotations from internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, etc.- Coordinate and conduct necessary meetings with internal stakeholders and other business units.- Identify potential risks in bids/estimates/quotations/solutions proposed.- Ensure all pre-tender processes and proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy Procedures and guidelines.- Create Sale order in SAP with associated activities upon receipt of order from Customer.- Prepare post-order documentation and follow applicable commercial processes prior to handover.- Maintain all documentation in hard and soft formats appropriately.- Conduct lost proposal analysis to improve future bidding.- Share knowledge and collaborate across functions. Qualifications Required:- A bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.- 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in Transformer & Service tendering/proposal preparation (technical & commercial).- Knowledge in transformers operation and maintenance and digital products is mandatory.- Experience and skill in preparing and supporting Bid Process.- Fluent in English language both spoken and written.- A team player with a sincere, committed, honest, and positive attitude.- Proficiency in technical tools such as MS-Office and Salesforce.- Knowledge and experience in SAP.
