Job Description

    As a Project Manager at Linde, you will be responsible for managing large and complex EPC projects, as well as supporting HQ projects. Your key responsibilities will include:- Overseeing discipline-specific activities- Supporting in planning and forecasting existing and future project costs- Providing early alert management for schedule/cost deviations- Tracking cost performance index, value management, quantity tracking, and cost control- Ensuring the usage of relevant software for workload and capacity planning- Supporting the development and integration of comprehensive project planning packages- Analyzing schedules and providing inputs for realistic project timelines- Supporting project scheduling activities for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Construction phases- Planning project execution with construction-driven concepts- Performing resource-loaded schedule planning, earned value analysis, and schedule performance index- Forecasting project performance accurately- Creating engineering, procurement, and construction registers- Generating reports for clients and project review meetings- Reviewing recovery plans and critical paths- Identifying new techniques/tools for performance enhancement- Overseeing interface management and alignment with global entities and local units/functions- Initiating risk workshops and creating detailed risk registers- Supporting risk identifications with mitigation measures and contingency calculations- Creating risk identification checklists and calculating liquidated damagesIn addition to the key responsibilities, you will also have the following additional responsibility:- Handling large size or complex EPC projects and supporting HQ projects with a team of more than 2 membersEducation & Experience required for this role:- BE in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering- Minimum 15 years of experience- Experience in handling large-scale EPCC projects in the Oil & Gas sectorYou will also be tasked with deciding on actions to improve employee engagement across the Project Controls function.
