Job Description

    As a Compliance Officer at our company, your role will involve staying updated on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will be responsible for designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:- Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate compliance risks at AP branches- Developing strategies to mitigate and manage identified non-compliance risks effectively- Establishing a robust monitoring and testing checklist/SOP to assess the effectiveness of compliance in all departments- Conducting periodic compliance audits and investigations, and reporting findings to management- Preparing and submitting timely and accurate compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities- Communicating compliance issues, developments, and recommendations to the executive team and relevant stakeholders- Ensuring timely submission of all audit reports/alerts and replies to authorities/auditors- Collaborating with other departments such as Legal, Risk Management, and Internal Audit to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance- Serving as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies/auditors- Developing and implementing procedures for handling compliance violations and incidents- Overseeing the investigation and resolution of compliance-related matters- Handling customer grievances and reviewing the compliance calendar regularlyYou should have a Masters degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in compliance.Please note that the location for this position is Vadodara.
