Job Description

Your role will involve utilizing advanced engineering capabilities in Cloud, Data, AI, and Customer Experience to deliver innovative solutions to key players across various industries. As a Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the design and simulation of mechanisms while ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality tools.- Utilize advanced skills in SolidWorks for part design, assembly design, surface design, and detailed drawings.- Prepare Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bill of materials, etc.- Familiarity with Product data management (PDM)/ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool Windchill.- Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Tolerance Stack up Analysis, Design for Assembly and Manufacturing.- Interact and coordinate effectively with Product owners, Suppliers & Engineering teams globally.- Hands-on experience with 3D model/3D-Experience tools like Solidwork, Windchill, and SAP.- Proficient in drawing, BOM, GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis.- B.E in Mechanical Engineering.- 5 to 10 years of solid work experience in parametric, Sheetmetal, Assembly, Basic surfacing.- Basic knowledge of CT-VT, CVT, PT, switchgear, Breaker.- Hands-on experience in mechanism design & simulation.- Understanding of IEEE / ANSI / IS / ISO / DIN/ ASME standards.- Proficiency in FEA tools like Ansys, Solidwork Simulate, Solidwork Mechanism.- Familiarity with design process/quality tools like DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DMAIC, DOE.- Knowledge of product change management process.- Manufacturing knowledge in casting, machining, forging, welding, bending, injection molding.- Proficiency in spoken & written English language.
