Job Description

    As a member of the Accor team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Your role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the Finance department, directing financial planning and budget management functions, and analyzing monthly operating results against budget. You will also be responsible for preparing financial forecasts, ensuring compliance with budgetary reporting requirements, and establishing departmental goals and objectives. Additionally, you will play a key role in team management, including recruiting and developing team members, conducting performance reviews, and monitoring team performance and professionalism.**Key Responsibilities:**- Oversee the daily operations of the Finance department- Direct and coordinate hotel financial planning and budget management functions- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget- Prepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses- Analyze financial outlooks and prepare financial forecasts- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives- Serve as the primary legislative liaison relative to company financial issues- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements- Conduct regular checks on procedures for purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, food preparing, and portioning- Interview, select, and recruit direct reports- Identify and develop team members with potential- Conduct performance reviews and manage performance issues within the management team- Monitor team members performance, attitude, and professionalism- Work with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling, and development of team members- Conduct monthly departmental meetings to provide information, obtain feedback, rectify issues, and facilitate department communication**Qualifications:**- MBA in Finance or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with experience in team management- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders- Experience in implementing and optimizing financial processes and controls- Adaptability to changing business needs and driving continuous improvement initiativesIn addition to the responsibilities outlined above, you will be expected to attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management, maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, be aware of hotel fire and life safety procedures, and perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
