Job Description

Your role involves leading with purpose to break down barriers to innovation in a more connected and compassionate world.Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and monitor the activities of a sales team within a specified region/district/geography to achieve established sales targets.- Develop and implement business strategies for existing and potential accounts.- Manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team to implement the organizations overall sales strategy for an assigned region/district/geography.- Foster strong relationships with key account personnel and relevant functions to support selling, market development, service efforts, and clinical programs.- Identify opportunities and develop new programs to meet the organizations sales plans and increase market share.- Assess the need for new selling programs and processes, conduct competitive analysis, and implement strategies.- Coach sales representatives on technical aspects of products and services, marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and sales techniques to help them achieve sales targets.Differentiating Factors:- Autonomy: Manage experienced sales professionals with latitude and independence in handling accounts and providing operational leadership.- Organizational Impact: Implement direct sales and operational plans with measurable impact on function results, revenue targets, resource allocation, and future business opportunities.- Innovation and Complexity: Make improvements to sales processes and products to enhance team performance.- Leadership and Talent Management: Lead a small to mid-sized team of experienced sales professionals, overseeing hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards within your area.Qualification Required:- A Bachelors degree (B pharma/Btech/BCA/BSc) and a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field.About Medtronic:Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology, dedicated to addressing the most challenging health problems facing humanity.
