Job Description

As an L3/ SME Network Security O&M, your role involves providing subject matter expertise for the 24x7 operational support of network security components such as firewalls and load balancers. You will be responsible for tasks like installation, management, configuration, and troubleshooting of these devices while maintaining the highest standards of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Turn-Around Time (TAT). Your tasks will also include assisting in the automation of mundane tasks for the network security operations team.**Key Responsibilities:**- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls or load balancers at an expert level.- Collaborate with the security team to prepare the Hardening Guidebook and automation tool-kit.- Perform hardening of network security devices according to guidelines.- Implement advanced configurations for high availability setups like Active-Passive or Active-Active Cluster for Disaster Recovery scenarios.- Obtain technical OEM certifications for Network & Security products or technologies.- Work with F5/Citrix Netscaler load balancers and Cisco/Palo Alto/Checkpoint firewalls.- Integrate firewalls and load balancers with Infrastructure Components like Active Directory (AD), LDAP, AAA, Radius, NTP, DNS, Syslog.- Demonstrate expertise in IP addressing schemes (IPv4 & IPv6) and log co-relation engines/methodology.- Utilize basic scripting skills for added advantage.**Responsibilities:**- Build, deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and load balancers.- Collaborate with business/application support teams to deploy necessary architecture on firewall/load balancers.- Recover services from outages and ensure timely performance management activities.- Provide advanced support to meet SLA/OLA/TAT parameters.- Drive automation efforts for the network security team.- Coordinate repairs, replacements, patches, or upgrades with third-party vendors/OEMs.- Troubleshoot connectivity failures impacting services and provide necessary reporting.**Qualifications Required:**- Exposure to F5/Citrix NetScaler load balancers, Cisco/Palo Alto/Checkpoint firewalls, Network Router and Switches, Nexus, ACI, etc.- Technical OEM certifications for Network & Security products or technologies.- Knowledge of Enterprise Service Management tools for automated testing, monitoring, event correlation engines, and service desk.- Experience in a multi-vendor environment.- Strong problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Soft skills including interpersonal relationship management and time management.
