Role Overview:Our client, a leading force in the competitive Retail sector, is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Head of E-commerce Merchandising & Operations to lead their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall e-commerce strategy, focusing on product assortment, online merchandising, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Your main objective will be to drive online sales and optimize the customer journey from the convenience of your home office. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for customers.Key Responsibilities:- Define product categories and manage pricing strategies- Optimize product content and imagery for online display- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth- Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams- Lead and manage e-commerce teams to drive sales growth and optimize conversion ratesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a leadership role- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital merchandising best practices, and online retail operations- Experience in the retail industry highly valued- Proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform strategic decisions- Excellent leadership and communication skillsPlease note that this fully remote position requires you to be a self-starter capable of working independently and managing your workload effectively.
