Job Description

    As the National Head - Solar Sales at our company in Bhubaneswar, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing all solar sales activities across India. Your strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the solar industry, and proven track record of sales performance will be essential for strategizing, implementing, and driving the sales operations to achieve our business objectives.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the national solar sales strategy to achieve organizational revenue and growth targets.- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competition in the solar sector.- Forecast sales projections and develop plans to meet them effectively.- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing national sales team.- Provide regular training and development opportunities to ensure the team stays updated with industry trends and technologies.- Set performance goals, monitor achievements, and conduct performance reviews.- Identify and establish relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders in the solar energy sector.- Drive business expansion through partnerships, large-scale projects, and new market penetration.- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.- Monitor and ensure the execution of sales strategies and activities across all regions.- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to support sales initiatives.- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.- Prepare and manage the national sales budget.- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, margins, and profitability.- Implement cost-effective measures to optimize resources.Qualifications and Skills:- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.- Strong understanding of the solar energy market, products, and technologies.- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
