Safety Officer / Supervisor

Job Description

Role Overview:As a Safety Compliance and Risk Management professional, your role involves ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal electrical safety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting regular safety audits and inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will perform risk assessments, provide recommendations to mitigate risks, and investigate incidents and near-misses related to electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing electrical safety policies and procedures.- Conducting safety training sessions for employees.- Creating educational materials and programs to enhance safety awareness.- Staying updated on industry best practices and regulations to provide relevant training.- Developing and implementing emergency response plans for electrical incidents.- Coordinating with emergency services and leading emergency drills and simulations.- Maintaining accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and incident reports.- Preparing and submitting safety reports to regulatory agencies.- Tracking key safety performance indicators (KPIs).- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations electrical safety program.- Reviewing electrical design changes to ensure appropriate safety features.- Providing electrical safety support to construction projects.- Collaborating with project managers to ensure effective implementation of electrical safe work practices.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree preferred.- Minimum 2 years of experience in safety plans required.- Willingness to travel 75% preferred.Additional Company Details:In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company provides benefits such as food, health insurance, and provident fund.
