Job Description

    As a GIS Specialist, you will work with ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, and remote sensing technologies to support projects in urban planning, telecom, Base map, LULC, Building footprint, Fence walls image interpretation, environmental analysis, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:- Designing and implementing sophisticated GIS databases and spatial analysis models- Developing and maintaining GIS applications and tools to streamline workflows- Conducting advanced spatial analysis and data modeling to support decision-making processes- Managing and analyzing large datasets, including satellite imagery and survey data- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into GIS solutions- Managing and mentoring junior GIS professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverablesFor this role, you are required to have hands-on experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and AutoCAD. You should also possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. A diploma is required for education qualification, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS is necessary. Additionally, experience in quality check (QC) and quality assurance (QA) is preferred.This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The benefits include health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
