Job Description

You will be working as a Junior Associate Lawyer at PJ Law, a boutique corporate law firm in Ernakulam. Your role will involve handling transaction-based corporate work, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal advisory support, and participating in client meetings and dispute resolution proceedings.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in handling transaction-based work in corporate and commercial law.- Conduct comprehensive legal research and due diligence.- Draft, review, and vet legal documents, contracts, and opinions.- Provide legal advice on financial restructuring, corporate insolvency, and regulatory compliance.- Participate in client meetings and manage correspondence with clients and regulatory authorities.- Support senior counsels in arbitration and dispute resolution matters.Qualifications:- Strong legal research and analytical skills.- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing corporate and transactional documents.- Foundational knowledge in Corporate Insolvency, Financial Restructuring, FinTech, and Contract Law.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.Educational Qualification: LL.B. / CS / CA.Prior experience in dispute resolution or commercial transactions will be considered an advantage.
