Job Description

    The Account Executive will lead the accounting function of the organization in Guwahati. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations. This role involves overseeing the accounts team, managing financial accounting, monitoring internal controls, and collaborating with leadership to support strategic decision-making.Your key responsibilities will include leading month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. You will prepare and analyze financial statements according to applicable accounting standards, manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax. Additionally, you will liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions, implement strong internal controls and financial procedures, and drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives in the finance function. Managing and mentoring the accounting team, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will provide strategic input to senior management based on financial insights and analysis.To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. A strong understanding of accounting standards, proficiency in accounting software, excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills, as well as high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are required.This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work.,
