Job Description

    You are invited to apply for the position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT (NER) funded research project at Gauhati University, Assam. The project focuses on Project Engineering related to betalain biosynthetic DOPA dioxygenase for the development of a bio-colorant production technology.As a Junior Research Fellow, you will be involved in research activities for a duration of 3 years. The position is open to candidates below 28 years of age as of August 11, 2025. The selected candidate will receive remuneration as per the existing DBT guidelines mentioned in DST/PCPM/Z06/2022 dated June 26, 2023.To be eligible for this position, you must hold either an M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with CSIR NET-JRF/GATE in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or a B.Tech in Biotechnology with CSIR NET-JRF/GATE.
