Job Description

    As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to onboard catering staff, ground crew, and other personnel involved in travel and hospitality services. Your role will focus on ensuring consistent service quality, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction in travel environments.You will conduct induction and refresher training for food service staff on customer service, food handling, hygiene, and safety standards. Additionally, you will guide staff during live operations to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train employees on effective communication, complaint handling, and upselling techniques to enhance passenger experience.Your duties will also include educating staff on FSSAI/ISO standards, HACCP protocols, and safe storage, preparation, and serving practices, as well as training them on menu offerings, portion control, and presentation guidelines. You will assess employee skills and knowledge, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement, and create and update training manuals, checklists, and e-learning content.Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with HR, operations, and quality assurance teams to align training with business needs. Strong communication and presentation skills, knowledge of hospitality and catering best practices, and an understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are essential for success in this position. You should also possess the ability to train multicultural and multilingual teams, good problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.This is a full-time, permanent position based in Guwahati, Assam. The job type is in-person, with a requirement for day shift availability. A Bachelors degree is required for this role, along with at least 3 years of experience in staff training.
