Job Description

    You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) workshop to ensure productivity and efficiency. Leading and supervising the workshop team, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff, will be part of your role. Daily workshop reviews, job allocations, and workflow monitoring will also be key tasks.Your duties will include resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues either by guiding technicians or seeking online/technical assistance. Maintaining high standards of customer service by interacting with customers to understand their concerns and ensure timely resolution will also be crucial. Monitoring and improving service KPIs such as Turnaround Time (TAT), repeat jobs, and first-time fix rate will be part of your responsibilities.Adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards within the workshop, as well as inventory control of tools, parts, and consumables, will be essential. Regular reporting of workshop performance to senior management will also fall under your purview.Key Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience in Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) service/workshop management.- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems of LCVs.- Proven ability to lead and manage workshop teams effectively.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.- Good customer handling and communication abilities.- Comfortable using digital tools and online platforms for technical troubleshooting.- Willingness to work under pressure and meet performance targets.This is a full-time position with benefits such as paid time off, Provident Fund, yearly bonus, and a day shift schedule.
