Job Description

    The role of a Site Electrician involves various key responsibilities to ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of electrical systems at the site. This includes interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical layouts for on-site implementation. You will be responsible for conducting routine and emergency maintenance of electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. Additionally, you will be required to perform equipment maintenance by inspecting and servicing site equipment powered by electricity.As a Site Electrician, you will supervise and guide electrical support staff and subcontractors to ensure safe and compliant electrical practices. This will involve overseeing the maintenance of critical utilities such as generators, transformers, water pumps, and other essential electrical utilities. You will also be responsible for notifying the Site Engineer or Project Manager about required electrical materials and components for uninterrupted site operations.To maintain continuous power supply across the site, you will need to implement strategies and backup systems. You will also provide temporary electrical connections for project equipment, tools, and labor as needed for construction activities. The preferred qualifications for this role include an ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years of experience in site-based electrical work, sound knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulations, as well as experience with DG sets, transformers, and industrial electrical systems.This is a full-time position with benefits such as Provident Fund. The work schedule may involve rotational shifts, and the work location is in person.,
