As a CO I DCPM Compliance, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsofts online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. • Bachelors degree in Public Affairs, Law or related field AND 10 years industry experience in a government relations or similar role
• Excellent understanding of the legislative process and political landscape
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Strong analytical abilities and experience in policy analysis
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of the industrys legislation and regulations

Background Check Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

ResponsibilitiesAs a successful Datacenter Program Manager - Government Relations, your success will be measured by:

• Acting as the single point of contact for all datacenter metro level audit and compliance projects, initiatives, and ongoing operational activities including site safety drills and tabletop exercises.

• Empowering a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations by complying with CO Is safety programs and policies and completing compliance knowledge assessments.
• Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

As a successful Datacenter Program Manager - Government Relations, your day-to-day work will include:

• Developing and implementing strategies to promote and protect the MSFTs interests with government entities to ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations such as Ministry of Telecommunications, Ministry of Industry, Indonesia Investment Body, Ministry of Finance, Customs, etc.
• Building and maintaining relationships with government officials and regulatory agencies by establishing strong relationships with government officials. This includes managing communication between MSFT and relevant government bodies including advocating MSFT.
• Representing MSFT in meetings with government regular meetings, briefings, and participation in policy discussions to keep a close watch on regulatory developments and providing timely updates and analysis to internal MSFT stakeholders. This includes monitoring legislation and regulatory developments that might impact the organization and advising leadership on potential implications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address regulatory concerns and implement compliance strategies and presenting policy proposals that address the concerns and needs of both MSFT and government.
• Presenting well-researched, data-driven arguments that align with the goals and priorities of Government and coordinating MSFTs response to governmental inquiries and audits to help in making a compelling case for MSFTs position.
• Preparing reports and briefings on governmental matters for internal stakeholders including Governments trends and changes.
• Forming alliances with DC organizations or industry groups in Indonesia to amplify the collective voice and strengthen the advocacy efforts.
• Familiar with rules and regulations and know how where to look for the information.
