Job Description

    As an Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul (ARMO) Mechanic at Baker Hughes, you will have the opportunity to maintain assigned trucks, ships, and related surface cabin equipment in accordance with operating specifications. Your responsibilities will include routinely welding, painting, and refurbishing equipment, as well as conducting mechanical inspections. You will review procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy, configure test stations and systems, and facilitate third-party repair of equipment when required. Your analytical abilities will be essential in analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests, troubleshooting equipment problems, and finding solutions to difficult technical problems. Additionally, you will schedule maintenance of equipment, provide supervision, mentorship, and leadership to technicians, maintain equipment records, and inspect and disposition of parts and equipment.To be successful in this role, you should:- Have a technical diploma or 9 years of maintenance-related experience in the automobile & mechanical function.- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic).- Possess certifications in Automobile, Motor Mechanic ITI, or Diploma.- Be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, hydraulic circuits diagram, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.- Have extensive knowledge and expertise in hydraulic circuits and the ability to troubleshoot faults.- Be proficient in using multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.- Demonstrate an advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.- Have team leadership and advanced computer skills.Baker Hughes recognizes that everyone has unique working preferences.
