Job Description

Role Overview:As a highly skilled Python Backend Developer at IKS Health, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI. Your expertise in building scalable backend systems and your understanding of microservices architecture will be crucial for integrating state-of-the-art technologies to empower healthcare organizations.Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI.- Develop and deploy serverless functions using Google Cloud Functions and integrate with GCP services such as Pub/Sub, Firestore, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.- Implement complex business logic, data models, and AI/ML pipelines across Python-based services.- Integrate natural language processing (NLP) models like OpenAI GPT APIs and LangChain frameworks to build intelligent conversational agents, recommendation engines, and data processing workflows.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.- Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications using React.js, Redux, and React Hooks, including AI-powered interactive components.- Design and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and integrate them with backend applications; work with NoSQL databases like MongoDB as needed.- Conduct and participate in peer code reviews, ensuring quality and performance benchmarks are met.- Use version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) for source code management and collaboration.- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.- Collaborate with QA engineers, product managers, UX designers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality AI-powered solutions.- Stay updated on emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and cloud AI services to continuously improve application efficiency and user experience.Qualifications Required:- 4 to 7 years of professional experience in full stack development with strong Python expertise.- 2 years of experience with Python FastAPI.- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture, and microservices.- Solid knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.- 1 years of experience in React.js, including React Hooks and Redux is preferred.- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Firestore.- Proven experience integrating AI/ML models and APIs, including OpenAI GPT, LangChain, or similar frameworks, into full stack applications.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional Agile teams.- Passion for AI/ML innovation and eagerness to learn and implement new AI-driven technologies.
