Project Manager - Configuration Management

Job Description

As a Project Manager at Convergint, you will be responsible for managing projects in accordance with company policies and standards to ensure client satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:- Preparing projects, which involves project scheduling, budget review, sales order processing, and conducting kick-off meetings.- Managing the project team and subcontractors effectively.- Conducting security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming as per Convergints guidelines.- Providing on-site client training.- Developing detailed system designs and drawings using AutoCAD.- Maintaining a high level of expertise in security equipment, cabling, and CCTV & Access Control systems.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in security, cabling, and/or electronic systems project implementation and commissioning.- Strong organizational skills related to program/project management.- Broad industry and market knowledge of network and low voltage building systems.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.- Basic IT knowledge in hardware, networks, and databases.- Proficient in security, cabling, installation and commissioning; experience with mainstream UPS, power supply, and distribution systems is advantageous.- Previous project management experience would be beneficial.- Experience with Lenel, C-Cure, Milestone, Victor, Cisco, and S2 systems, as well as Huawei switch and router configuration, is a plus.Join Convergint to utilize your expertise and contribute to successful project delivery while continuously enhancing your skills in the security systems industry.
