Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager, your role will involve leading the strategy, development, and lifecycle management for an enterprise-grade platform consisting of microservices deployed on Red Hat OpenShift Platform. This platform serves as the foundation for scalable, secure, and resilient digital applications across the organization.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Product Strategy & Roadmap:** Define and own the product roadmap for the microservices platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and application development needs.- **Customer-Centric Design:** Engage with internal stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and pain points, translating them into platform capabilities and service offerings.- **Lifecycle Ownership:** Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of platform services from ideation to ongoing optimization.- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, security, and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of microservices on OpenShift.- **Governance & Compliance:** Define and enforce standards for microservice design, deployment, observability, and governance within the platform ecosystem.- **Developer Enablement:** Drive initiatives to enhance developer onboarding, documentation, SDKs, and automation pipelines for building and integrating with platform services.- **Metrics & Feedback:** Establish KPIs to measure platform adoption, performance, and reliability. Continuously gather feedback to inform future enhancements.- **Provide mentorship and leadership** to junior product managers and cross-functional teams.**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 8 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in product management of software/middleware/platform products.- At least 2-3 years in a product management role in IT product-based organizations.- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API-first design, and container orchestration using OpenShift (or Kubernetes).- Experience managing developer platforms, SaaS/PaaS products, or internal service marketplaces.- Proven ability to define product strategy, translate vision into actionable roadmaps, and manage product release strategies.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling.- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using tools like Jira and Confluence.In addition to the above, certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe POPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or any other certification in product/program/project management are preferred.The organization is preferably from the Technology/SAAS industry.Location: Navi Mumbai As an Associate Product Manager, your role will involve leading the strategy, development, and lifecycle management for an enterprise-grade platform consisting of microservices deployed on Red Hat OpenShift Platform.
