Job Description

    As an Associate/Senior Associate in the Deal Advisory practice, your role will involve working with nationally recognized industry leaders and executing various aspects of the financial due diligence process. Here is what a typical day in this role looks like:- Leveraging your expertise in financial analysis to support clients in strategic transactions within the lower middle market segment (EBITDA of $1-20 M).- Conducting comprehensive financial assessments, including analysis of DSO, DPO, ROI, IDO, and other key metrics.- Leading financial due diligence efforts by analyzing proof of cash, revenue, and expenses.- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to evaluate opportunities, develop financial models, and provide actionable recommendations based on financial metrics.- Preparing clear reports, presentations, and financial models to communicate findings to clients and senior management.- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high-quality deliverables.- Familiarity with key financial metrics such as DSO, DPO, ROI, EBITDA, and net working capital.- Identifying key issues, conducting financial analysis, interpreting results, and reporting findings.- Analyzing historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and risks.- Evaluating the quality of historical earnings and net assets, working capital requirements, and US GAAP departures in financial statements.- Challenging assumptions related to future financial projections and identifying post-closing matters for improvements.- Interacting extensively with target company personnel and clients.- Preparing due diligence reports outlining analyses and findings.Qualifications for this role include:- A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a client-facing professional services environment.- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.- CA/CMA/CFA qualification or pursuing.- Excellent MS Excel skills with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
