Job Description

As a Formulation Development Lead at Piramal Consumer Healthcare, your role involves leading the formulation development team for cosmetics and commodity products. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet development timelines and create a cost-effective product matrix of innovative products. Your responsibilities include developing quality products according to business requirements within predefined network timelines. It is essential for you to have a thorough knowledge of the chemistry of raw materials and their potential activity/function in the products.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage a team of 4-5 Scientists effectively- Develop versatile dosage forms in skincare-cosmetic and FMCG-commodity product range- Understand polymer science and the behavior of various polymers or thickening agents in terms of Rheology and flow properties- Knowledge of claims in products and extending claims matrix of existing and new product developments- Drive innovation in the beauty category and create differentiated product matrixes- Understand basic GMP and good documentation practices- Foster an innovation mindset for developing differentiated innovative products with unique claims matrix- Have a thorough understanding of packaging and stability requirements for cosmetic products- Comprehend cosmetic regulationsIn the three decades of its existence, Piramal Group has pursued a twin strategy of both organic and inorganic growth.
