Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Analyst in the Corporate (Private Credit Ratings Team) at Morningstar DBRS Credit Operations Mumbai Analytics, you will have the opportunity to support the efficient delivery of credit ratings/information to the market. Your role will involve working closely with global stakeholders to provide data, research, and financial modeling support for the credit ratings process. This position is based in the Navi Mumbai office and offers unique opportunities for learning and growth within the credit analysis field.Key Responsibilities:- Develop a strong understanding and proficiency in credit analysis.- Support global analytical teams by monitoring news, announcements, and material events affecting corporate credits.- Assist in preparing and updating financial models, reconciling data, and maintaining historical financial results and credit metrics for companies and peer groups.- Conduct industry research by reviewing company filings, presentations, and industry publications.- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to contribute to company-specific and industry reports.- Summarize credit and legal documentation and assist in preparing credit rating memos and rationales.- Track and maintain documentation and operational databases to support the credit rating process.- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.Qualifications Required:- Masters or Postgraduate in Management (Finance) or CA or CFA Level 3 or equivalent qualification.- 1-2 years of relevant experience in capital markets, corporate credit analysis, or auditing corporate financial statements.- Good understanding of finance and accounting concepts, knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS accounting rules is a plus.- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results timely.- Good interpersonal skills and team player capabilities.Additional Company Details:Morningstar DBRS is committed to empowering investor success by providing leading-edge technology and raising industry standards.
