Role Overview:As a Financial Analyst at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic planning, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Your work will provide accurate and timely financial information for the Leadership team, contributing to the overall financial performance and key metrics of the company. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in interpreting financial data and generating valuable insights to support decision-making.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain financial models for short-term and long-term strategic planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Leadership team, highlighting financial performance and key metrics.- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support specific projects, investments, and initiatives.- Implement and maintain commercial reporting systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.- Estimate, analyze, and monitor monthly results for APAC Leadership team reviews.- Provide support with ad hoc analysis as required.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Management, Business Analytics, or Finance.- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Project/Operations Management, Business Analytics or FP&A, financial/cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate insights.- Experience with business analytics tools and techniques, along with working knowledge of advanced excel and proven ability to analyze large sets of data.- Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Power BI is preferable.- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion/PBCS, Oracle).- High level of curiosity and attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.- Meticulous with strong organizational skills.- Ability to embrace organizational changes and maintain a positive attitude.- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and build appropriate partnerships.Additional Company Details:At Jacobs, the company values people and emphasizes the importance of a balanced work environment that promotes belonging, career growth, and lifestyle well-being.
