As a Lead Software Engineer at Morningstar DBRS in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the software code base of Credit products in an agile environment. Your responsibility includes working closely with cross-functional teams, QA teams, and other development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. You will collaborate with a global team in an Agile manner, applying discipline, creating solid software products, and being accountable for deliverables.**Key Responsibilities:**- Create, develop, and maintain the software code base of Credit products in an agile environment.- Work with end users to address and fix defects.- Analyze and review system requirements, utilizing requirement and design documents for a comprehensive understanding of application functionality.- Actively participate in the building phases to produce high-quality deliverables.- Offer recommendations for product and development environment improvements.**Qualifications Required:**- 8 years of experience as a software developer.- Minimum 5 years of development experience in Angular, VueJS, or any JavaScript framework.- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience in Python or .NET; willingness to undergo cross-training.- Proficiency in Python-based full-stack development using FAST API, dependency management, and debugging knowledge on cloud infrastructure.- 5 years of experience in cloud platforms, preferably AWS.- 5 years of experience in databases (Relational/NoSQL).- Strong understanding of multi-threaded workflow development, Asynchronous programming, and debugging.- Proficient in designing system architectures and implementing systems following the architecture.- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD tools like Harness/Jenkins.- Good interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills.- Experience in agile software development.- Bachelors degree in computer science or an engineering field is strongly preferred.- Candidates with a background in financial investment banking are preferred.Morningstar is an equal opportunity employer.
