Job Description

As a Network Engineer, your main responsibility is to design, implement, and maintain the organizations network infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure data and communication flow. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze network requirements, configure network devices, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance. Your role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the organizations network infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement LANs, WANs, and other network segments based on business requirements and best practices.- Configure and manage network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points for efficient data transmission and secure communication.- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks or issues, and optimize the network for maximum efficiency and reliability.- Implement and maintain network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.- Plan and execute network infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to business operations.- Analyze network traffic patterns to identify improvement opportunities and for capacity planning.- Ensure network infrastructure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.- Interact with vendors and service providers for network hardware, software, and services procurement.- Collaborate with IT, security, and application development teams to support their network-related needs and projects.Qualifications Required:- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or equivalent.
