Job Description

    As a People Operations Associate Advisor at Johnson Matthey, you will be responsible for various HR functions to support the organizations growth and success. You will work collaboratively with Centers of Expertise to ensure the proper administration of human resources policies, procedures, and practices. Additionally, you will serve as the point of contact for managers on all HR transactional and advisory inquiries, providing guidance and support on the interpretation and application of HR policies throughout the employee lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Centers of Expertise to ensure proper administration of HR policies and practices.- Act as the main point of contact for managers regarding HR inquiries, providing guidance and support.- Manage the full lifecycle of employee management from on-boarding to resignation, including conducting exit interviews.- Handle submissions of payroll inputs and maintain accurate personnel records.- Develop org design and implement organization design changes.- Provide advice on various HR matters such as policy interpretation, performance management, and employee relations.- Address individual employee issues and provide timely counseling on HR-related matters.- Offer guidance on employment laws and legal considerations to people leaders and employees.- Advocate for integrated case management and uphold HR standards.- Update HR-related documents and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.- Support the HR operating model and implement process improvements for enhanced service delivery.- Undertake ad hoc project work and provide support to the People Services Team.Qualifications Required:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources related field.- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs.- Experience in Workday System or any ATS tools.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.- Comfortable with high volume workload and managing multiple priorities.- Experience in completing projects of various complexities.- Manufacturing and IT industry experience.In return for your contributions, Johnson Matthey offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonuses, excellent pension contributions, and generous annual leave.
