Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Product Manager at Belimo, your main responsibility will be to analyze India sensors and meters market trends and requirements to define clear product specifications for a product family. You will play a crucial role in positioning the product family to have a competitive advantage and gain high market share. Your focus will be on the Sensors & Meters product, managing the product range life cycle, quality assurance, and project management for new product development and successful market introduction.Key Responsibilities:- Understand market trends, drivers, challenges, and needs to prioritize and execute business plans for premier solutions.- Develop strategic product plans based on market knowledge and growth opportunities.- Manage the product lifecycle from market introduction to discontinuation.- Develop and deploy new product launch and market introduction plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams for necessary communications.- Receive new product requests, analyze competitor offerings, pricing, marketing strategies, and standards.- Maintain communication with Asia Pacific countries and HQ.- Lead product lifecycle management, understanding build/buy/partner options, and articulating business value for investment needs.- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement strategies and tactics.- Work with content development resources to ensure a common vision and support development efforts.- Lead the product launch/change process, including readiness, logistics, pricing, and communication.Qualification Required:Educational Requirement:- Major in Automation or HVAC engineering.- Bachelors degree or above.Working Experience:- More than 4 years of experience in the HVAC industry or related field, with a focus on Sensors & Meters.- Strong experience in TEM (Technical Equipment Maintenance) and sales support.Special Requirements:- Proficiency in written and spoken English, along with computer operation and work-related applications.- Knowledge of SAP and CRM systems is an advantage.Personal Requirements:- Persuasive ability and professional interface with customers and suppliers.- Ability to think and act in consideration of networked structures.- Skill in evaluating risks and making decisions accordingly.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Willingness to travel.Additional Company Details:At Belimo, the leadership is value-driven and encourages new ideas globally.
