Job Description

    As a Sales Specialist Proposal Analyst at Baker Hughes, you will play a crucial role in preparing proposals, bids, contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment as per the predefined sales plan. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the finance risk review process for all MENATI-region deals in coordination with commercial finance and cross-functional stakeholders.- Assessing key financial risk elements such as CAPEX exposure, customer credit rating, bank guarantee requirements, revenue recognition implications, billing risks, and contractual articles related to finance.- Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial risk summaries to secure the appropriate approval level based on the prevailing risk profile of each deal.- Documenting, justifying, and aligning all financial risk considerations with internal governance standards before deal submission.- Acting as the focal point for clarifications, follow-ups, and alignment between commercial teams and finance approvers to enable timely decision-making and approvals before deal submission.To be successful in this role, you will need:- A Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Sales/Finance), with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Proposals.- Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and the ability to influence others and lead small teams.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.At Baker Hughes, we value diversity and recognize that everyone has a unique way of working.
