Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Enterprise Data Platform team at PitchBook, you will work on building data pipelines, manipulating data, implementing business logic, and making data available to end consumers through data products. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders from various departments to deliver accurate, timely, and secure data insights. Your role will involve utilizing various data and reporting technologies to support advanced business analytics and automate processes.**Primary Job Responsibilities:**- Apply unified data technologies for advanced business analytics- Design, develop, document, and maintain database and reporting structures- Define, develop, and review extract, load, and transform (ELT) processes- Evolve data processes following industry best practices- Build data models for reports and dashboards- Contribute to the improvement of quality assurance standards- Support the companys vision and values through role modeling- Participate in company initiatives and projects as requested**Skills And Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- 5 years of experience in data engineering roles- Expertise in advanced SQL and Python- Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based data platforms- Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance standards- Strong problem-solving and communication skills- Experience working with enterprise technologies is a plusThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting.
