Senior Software Engineer (Generative AI)

Job Description

You will be working at WebMD Health Corp., an Internet Brands Company, which is a leading provider of health information services. The company serves patients, physicians, health care professionals, employers, and health plans through various online portals, mobile platforms, and health-focused publications. WebMD Health Corp. includes a network of websites such as WebMD Health, Medscape, Jobson Healthcare Information, prIME Oncology, and more.As a member of the team located in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, you are expected to have at least 4 years of experience and will be working the shift timings from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.Your responsibilities will include:- Designing & Development: - Architecting and building AI-powered tools using LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.). - Integrating and customizing AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or custom solutions. - Collaborating with product and research teams to translate requirements into prompt workflows and agent behaviors. - Designing and implementing scalable systems and infrastructure to support AI agents and workflows, using suitable tools and technologies.- Prompt Engineering & Agentic Workflows: - Designing advanced, modular prompt chains that incorporate memory, dynamic context injection, and multi-step reasoning across agent workflows. - Experimenting with and optimizing agentic architectures for real-world tasks (retrieval, generation, summarization, etc.).- Front-End Integration: - Collaborating with UI/UX or front-end teams to integrate AI-powered features into user-facing applications as needed.- Adaptability & Learning Mindset: - Having the willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools as needed. - Being open to working across the stack to support the development of AI-powered solutions. - Feeling comfortable stepping beyond core skill sets to contribute wherever needed in the AI application lifecycle.- Testing & DevOps: - Writing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability. - Participating in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying models/services using best practices.- Mentorship & Collaboration: - Upskilling peers in GenAI, prompt engineering, and best practices. - Contributing to knowledge-sharing and architectural reviews across teams. - Staying updated with evolving AI ecosystems, tools, and research.
