Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, your role will involve collaborating closely with the Test Architect to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for front-end, back-end, and data migration processes across our SaaS platforms, custom-built solutions, and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications. Your focus will be on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Test Architect to design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts.- Develop and execute automated and manual tests for front-end, back-end, and data migration scenarios.- Work with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality test code.- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and software quality assurance.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing and test automation.- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.- Experience with Robot Framework (must have).- Familiarity with SaaS, custom developments, and COTS applications.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.In addition to the technical aspects of the role, at our company, you will find a positive work environment with projects that will challenge and satisfy your curiosity.
