As a Software Development Manager at our organization, you will play a crucial role in expanding our software development environment and IT department in Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the modernization of our clinical and administrative software at Medpace.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage software engineers and projects to deliver effective and high-quality software solutions- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements- Lead project management, ensure system quality, and oversee content management- Collaborate with company-wide leadership on software development projects- Design, modify, develop, support, install, and document software applications- Participate in software quality control and validation processes- Train software engineers and end users- Identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements**Qualifications:**- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8 years of software development and 3 years of project lead experience- 2 years of experience in a Technical Lead / People Management role- Previous experience in project management, execution, and delivery, along with managing a development team- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies like .NET and SQL Server, as well as web-based technologies such as Angular- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills in English- Knowledge of Azure and SharePoint technologies preferred- Experience in a clinical or regulated environment is a plusAt Medpace, we are a full-service clinical contract research organization dedicated to accelerating the development of safe and effective medical therapeutics globally.
