Job Description

    Profile Summary:Seeking a seasoned and commercially driven VP / Head of Marketing & Sales to lead all sales and marketing functions for our FIBC, Block Bottom bags, and PP woven Bags product lines. This is a senior leadership mandate requiring a strategic professional with deep industry roots, established international client networks, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing team from the ground up.The role carries full P&L accountability and reports directly to senior management.Position Details:Designation: VP / HOD Marketing & Sales.Department: Marketing & Sales.Location: Surat, Gujarat.Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent.Reporting To: Promoters.Team Responsibility: Build, lead, and manage own team.Key Responsibilities:Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and own the end-to-end sales strategy for FIBC majorly, Block Bottom bags, and PP woven Bags, from market mapping to deal closure.Define target customer segments, geographies, and channels.Prepare precise annual and quarterly sales forecasts with clear plans of approach, territory allocation, and account targeting.Drive both new customer acquisition and long-term retention through structured account management practices.Marketing and P&L Responsibilities:Formulate and execute the annual marketing plan and budget, covering all offline and online channels.Build and maintain a strong B2B brand identity aligned with the companys positioning in the domestic and international markets.Own pricing strategy and decisions, balancing market competitiveness with margin objectives.Hold responsibility for the sales P&L, including revenue targets, contribution margins, and bottom-line profitability.Build, structure, hire, and mentor a high-performing Sales & Marketing team; set clear KPIs and drive performance culture.Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, QA, Finance. and other departmentsEnsure adherence to export regulations, international quality standards, and company policies across all customer-facing activities.Must have requirements:10-15 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing, with significant tenure in the FIBC and/or cement packaging industry.Proven track record of leading large-scale B2B sales functions, including international markets.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.Skills & Competencies:Deep product knowledge across FIBC, PP woven sacks, and cement bags including construction, quality parameters, and technical specifications.Strategic thinker with proven hands-on execution capability equally comfortable setting direction and driving implementation.Demonstrated ability to build long-term global customer relationships and manage high-value international accounts.Existing international client network in the FIBC or packaging industry is a strong advantage.Actively tracks global marketing trends, competitive strategies, and industry developments to inform strategy.
