Job Description

    JD of Purchase Manager:Receive and process emails containing material indents.Solicit quotations from a minimum of three vendors for each purchase requisition.Collate and compare received quotations based on factors like price, quality, and terms.Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable rates and payment terms.Generate Purchase Orders (POs) using the ERP system.Monitor and follow up with vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials.Verify received materials against POs, Challans, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).Facilitate the return material process when necessary.Reconcile and track supplier payments in coordination with the finance/accounts department.Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, updating relevant vendor data such as GST, MSME Certificate, PAN card, and bank details.Maintain documentation related to purchases, including PO files, comparison sheets, and vendor files.Handle documentation for imported materials and liaise with vendors for timely delivery.Monitor and manage minimum inventory levels for critical imported and domestic raw materials in coordination with the store division. 14.
