Job Description

As the Lead Project Manager/Business Analyst for Portfolio Solutions with 10 years of experience in Financial Services, your focus will primarily be on the Equity asset class while also supporting other asset classes like Fixed Income, Futures, Options, and Derivatives. You will be responsible for project management, leading business analysis discussions, and gathering requirements for Portfolio Solutions projects and programs. Your role will involve tracking project deliverables with a specific emphasis on equities and derivatives trade processing, clearing, and regulatory reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams working on different asset classes and work closely with a diverse array of on-shore and off-shore team members.Key Responsibilities:- Lead project management and business analysis discussions- Gather requirements for Portfolio Solutions projects- Track project deliverables focusing on equities and derivatives trade processing- Collaborate with on-shore and off-shore team members from different departments- Consult with key stakeholders in Portfolio Solutions Trading, Operations, Compliance, Risk & Regulatory reporting- Coordinate tasks, requirements, and deliverables with other SSGM groupsQualifications Required:- Minimum 14-17 years of total experience with at least 10 years in Financial Services, specifically in Investment & Trading systems- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing highly technical teams and projects- Successful track record of delivering projects and programs using lightweight or Agile approaches- Experience working with OMS applications; Fidessa ASP preferred- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrated strength in initiative-taking, leadership, and influencing skills- Ability to analyze complex data quickly, identify key risks, and drive them to closure- Ability to adapt quickly in a fastgrowing and changing environment- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle for iterative, agile, and traditional approaches- Expert background in Requirements Gathering and Use Case development- Strong knowledge and demonstrated use of testing methodologies and toolsDue to the role requirements, this job needs to be primarily performed in the office with some flexible work opportunities available.State Street, one of the largest custodian banks, asset managers, and asset intelligence companies in the world, values technology and innovation.
